Cabaniss has produced full evening-length performances and presented works throughout the United States and abroad, with recent performances in Estonia, Norway, Finland, and Italy.

As the founder and artistic director of selah dance collective, Ms. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Dance at UC Santa Barbara. Meredith Cabaniss received her BFA in dance from UC Santa Barbara, and her MFA in dance from Hollins University in collaboration with the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, with an emphasis on choreography and pedagogy. Some of her performance credits include Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans, a commercial for Vroom "Flake the Musical", music videos Shawn Amos "Ain't Gonna Name Names", Rich Brian "100 Degrees", and Pavel Kazarian "Pandora" which appeared at Rio WebFest and Divulge Dancers' Film Festival, Crown City Theater Company's "Nosferatu", a Tik Tok Social Media Ad, and many other projects. She has worked in live stage performances, site-specific work, devised theater, short films, television, immersive events, and in print ads and artworks. Her diverse background of being a student, performer, and teacher has provided her with a variety of expertise. Shalynne has a patient teaching style and focuses on teaching dance in a way that is healthy for the physical body for a non-injury journey of learning and practicing the dance craft, as well as giving and guiding the freedom of expression. Her goals are to also pass down her knowledge of dance and to give her students feelings of joy, accomplishment, and growth. Shalynne hopes to contribute her passions for dance, acting, and modeling to all art forms, mediums, and stories. She believes that being an artist allows her to share her emotions for the purpose of creating the human necessity of positive connections. Shalynne has expanded her craft with acting and modeling. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Pace University in New York City with a BFA in Dance and a Minor in Arts and Entertainment Management. Shalynne Armstrong trained in Los Angeles at Retter's Academy of Dance as a Rhythm Machine Company and Dancer's Bridge Member. Lauren lives in Camarillo with her husband, Will, and their three little dancers, Charlotte, Emerson, and Mila. Lauren’s students have gone on to many prestigious dance programs and companies, including the School of American Ballet, The Juilliard School, Joffrey Ballet, Texas State, Oklahoma City University, Nashville Ballet, the national tour of Hamilton, and many more. Her goal as a teacher is to help every student become a confident and joyful dancer. She also holds teaching certifications through Acrobatic Arts, Alixa Flexibility, and Progressing Ballet Technique. Lauren served as Children’s Ballet Mistress for the Moscow Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker and has been a certified member of Dance Masters of America for over 20 years. Lauren has been dancing for as long as she can remember and has been teaching and inspiring CAPA students for 22 years! Since graduating with honors from UCSB, she has devoted her energy to teaching dance full-time. She recently was featured in a Geico commercial promoting the VMAs that was choreographed by Luam Keflezgy.Lauren Wilkins | Director of CAPA, Instructor Besides travelling the world and training in many styles of dance she also modeled for Discount Dance Supply. She also performed live for Camila Cabello on The Today Show and has been in music videos for artists such as Jennifer Lopez and Jason Derulo.

She had the opportunity to perform for Christina Aguilera on the TV show known as TRL and was featured in Laurieann Gibson’s Lifetime show called Beyond the Spotlight when she danced for Sean “Diddy” Combs. She has had the opportunity to perform on many prestigious stages such as the Apollo Theater, Madison Square Garden, Beacon Theatre, and Radio City Music Hall. She went on tour with a dance convention known as The Pulse on Tour during the 2014-2015 season and had the opportunity to assist world renowned choreographers such as Brian Friedman, Tessandra Chavez, Gil Duldulao and many more. She is also a part of Clear Talent Group. She currently trains with Kozmic Edge, Immabeast, Abstrakt Beings, and Young Lions Training Program. Elyssa Cueto has been dancing since the age of three.
